| Bio: |  Name: David 'Davey' MacCulloch Age: 38 Nationality: Sometimes Scottish, sometimes English depending on who he's talking to. Allegiance: Harry Fisher, the gang, his family and the Lord. Usually in that order. Social Status and/or Occupation: Thug. Long-standing gang member and has been in Harry Fisher's gang since it first became Harry's. Appearance: Davey looks like what he is, a fighter. He's tall and rather lanky but strong and really quite quick too; the perfect combination in his mind for the tasks he's put to. The dark hair and eyes are common to every member of his family, as is the ruddy skin, but the scars on his hands and torso are all his own. His dress is a little better than someone in his position in his family might have due to the work he's done and that he's lacking his own wife and children to spend his earned money on. This, and that he wears a couple of rings to match his ever-present crucifix, means that his appearance belies his roots. As long as he keeps his mouth shut, that is, because that lower-class Hackney accent is a dead giveaway. History: Davey's family are of Scottish origin, made obvious by his surname, but his dad's been in London since he was a boy and Davey's a Londoner through and through. He's a third son by a second marriage with three older siblings, a sister and two brothers, that have a mother that Davey never even met. The pub that his father and oldest brother run originally belonged to that woman's family as Davey's, and his two younger sisters', mother was a butcher's sister that Alexander MacCulloch married after his first wife's death to take care of the kids from that marriage. The position in the family that Davey's in meant that he'd never get a sniff at the business outside of fetching and carrying and, while not particularly ambitious, he did have his sights set higher than that even from a young age. So it was a stroke of luck when a local gang picked him up as a messenger due to his very good memory and half-decent manners. When he grew a lot taller in his teens he moved over to the more physical messages too and found that he was pretty good at those too. When he was twenty-three he ended up with his first, and so far only, prison sentence after teaching a lesson to the wrong person - a merchant's son who'd thought he'd play dangerously for a night and said the wrong thing to the MacCullogh's youngest girl in the family tavern. While not particularly sorry for his actions, despite what he told the court and the priest, he'd really rather not repeat the experience and now keeps strictly to orders from those above him. This means that while he's well known as a thug in the local area and beyond, he's also known as someone who doesn't take things into his own hands these days. He followed Harry from the old gang they shared to the new one where Davey follows Harry's orders after watching Harry's rise with interest and thinking he'd be a good bet to follow. It's one of the things he thanks the Lord for one a weekly basis that he decided on the right choice when Harry did take over the old gang. He rather enjoys the position he's earned himself over the years from that original decision and certainly isn't going to waver from Harry's footsteps anytime soon. The only thing he's thinking of changing these days is maybe seeing if some girl fancies a husband since the priest and his mother both have been nagging him about it of late seeing as he's due to turn forty in a few years.
